CIMB-GK Securities Pte. Ltd., as manager of the FTSE/ASEAN 40 exchange traded fund (the “Fund”), hereby announce that the listing of the Fund on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (“SGX-ST”) will not be affected by the military coup in Thailand, and will proceed as scheduled tomorrow 21 September 2006.

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (“SET”) was closed today after the Thai military launched a coup to overthrow Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra late Tuesday 19 September 2006.

Trading of the units in the Fund on the SGX-ST will commence at 9.00 a.m. tomorrow 21 September 2006. Creation and redemption of units in the Fund will however be suspended in the event that the SET continues to be closed.

As the listing and trading of the units in the Fund are unaffected by the suspension of the creation and redemption of units, investors will still be able to buy and sell units in the Fund throughout the trading day on the SGX-ST.
